Areas We Cover
It depends on the size of the property and the grade of system needed. We give you a free, fixed-price quote before any work starts, and our prices are the total with no VAT added.
Most shared houses of up to four storeys need a Grade D, LD2 system of mains-wired, interlinked alarms with a heat detector in each kitchen. Larger HMOs and bedsit buildings often need a Grade A panel system. Your council’s standard or licence conditions decide.
Grade A panel systems should be serviced every six months by a competent engineer and tested weekly. Grade D systems should be tested regularly and maintained to the manufacturer’s instructions.
